Millions have already streamed the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which hit the internet less than 24 hours ago.
The eagerly anticipated movie will close out the latest trilogy, which follows the adventures of new characters Rey, Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren, and saw the return of Mark Hamill in his iconic role as Luke Skywalker.
With the strapline ‘The saga will end, the story lives forever’, fans are expecting big things to close out the trilogy. More than 6.5 million have streamed the trailer on the official Star Wars YouTube channel since yesterday, and both Star Wars and the movie’s full title trended across social media.
Today Disney Store Oxford Street opened a dedicated Star Wars fan zone, featuring brand-new and exclusive The Rise of Skywalker merchandise, including apparel, premium collectables and the latest wave of Funko Pops.
