New broadcasters rise for Moon and Me thumbnail

9 Story Distribution International has secured a host of global broadcast partners for Moon and Me, the latest pre-school series from Teletubbies creator Andrew Davenport and Sutikki.

New broadcast partners cover territories from Ireland to Australia. They are: ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), NPO Zappelin (Netherlands), RTE (Ireland), HOP! (Israel), NRK (Norway), Studio Canal (Pan European) and YLE (Finland).

Moon and Me (50 x 22’) made its global television premiere on BBC’s CBeebies in the UK in early February this year and has just debuted in the US on Universal Kids, where it will air each weekday at 8am.


The show is inspired by well-loved tales of toys that come to life when nobody's looking, and brings its stories to life with groundbreaking technical and visual ambition that combines the latest production methods to bring the colorful world of Moon and Me to life.

In the UK, the series has been a top performer on CBeebies since its launch. More than 40 consumer product licensees have already been secured by Sutikki, including Hasbro as global master toy and Scholastic as global master publishing – two core categories for the brand. Product will begin rolling out in the UK later this summer.
