Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new trailer for Frozen 2 that showcases new locations and characters central to the sequel’s plot.
The two-minute teaser reveals more of Anna and Elsa’s forthcoming adventure into the enchanted forest, with the return of some familiar faces and a cast of new characters, including the sisters’ father King Agnarr.
Also introduced are brother and sister Honeymaren and Ryder, two members of the nomadic Northuldra community, alongside their unspoken leader Yelana, as well as Bruni, a curious and cute salamander who inhabits the Enchanted Forest. Though shy at first, Bruni can't help but be drawn to Elsa's icy magic and enjoys the cool snowflake treats she creates.
Disney’s official synopsis of Frozen 2 says: “Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough.”
The movie opens in UK Cinemas on 22 November.
