Copyrights Group has been signed as the licensing agent for new animated comedy series Mush-Mush & the Mushables.

Mush-Mush was developed by La Cabane, the Paris-based creative studio founded by Perrine Gauthier, and Thuristar, in co-production with Cake, which is distributing the show worldwide.

Copyrights will work alongside the production companies to develop a global licensing and merchandising programme, spearheading the roll out strategy worldwide, excluding China.

“We are thrilled to partner with La Cabane and Thuristar on Mush-Mush & the Mushables to build a 360-degree brand strategy,” says Sophie Kopaczynski, CEO, Copyrights Group. “It is exciting to work on such a property being full of genuine heart, fun and entertainment. And we truly believe that children around the world are just going to love it as much as we do.”

The property will launch at BLE next month ahead its international TV premier in 150 territories in 2020. The series will air internationally on Boomerang (in addition to Turner Kids channels Cartoon Network, Boing and Pogo in select markets), in France on Canal+ Family and Piwi+, in Belgium on VRT-Ketnet and RTBF, in Switzerland on RTS and in the Netherlands on RTL Telekids.

Perrine Gauthier, Founder and Producer, La Cabane and Thuristar, says: We are very excited to launch this property and unique world to the licensing and merchandising arena and to join forces with Copyrights Group in developing a quality and long-lasting brand with the expertise of Sophie and her team.”
