Boat Rocker Studios has promoted Gia DeLaney to Senior Vice President, Global Sales - Kids and Family.
In the new role she will head up worldwide distribution of the studio’s kids and family slate, including Kingdom Force, Dino Ranch, and The Next Step, based out of the New York office.
Gia has headed up the children's programming sales division for Boat Rocker Studios for the past four years.
The promotion follows Gia’s “instrumental” role in in negotiating global deals for content from Boat Rocker Studios’ family of production companies, including Industrial Brothers, Temple Street and Radical Sheep. She also handled content from Fremantle Kides & Family, which Boat Rocker acquired last January.

"She is an integral senior leader within the Boat Rocker Studios Kids & Family team.”
Over her 20-year career, DeLaney has established long standing relationships with leading broadcasters and streaming platforms around the world. Prior to joining Boat Rocker Studios, Gia served as the VP, Program Sales at American Greetings Properties for more than four years, securing broadcast deals Strawberry Shortcake and The Care Bears.
Prior to that she handled sales of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Yugioh!, and Pokémon as VP, International Program Sales at 4Kids Entertainment. She’s also held roles at Showtime Networks and produced daily current affairs shows at ABC and MSNBC.
