Zulleon has named Jay at Play the global master toy partner or its STEM-inspired digital kids’ property Ooks.
Under the agreement, brokered by licensing agent Weird Lime, Jay at Play will create a range of plush, collectables, accessories and games based on the Ooks suite of mobile games and animated shorts.
Having found the “perfect partner to bring OOKS to life outside of our digital playground “ Noel Donegan and Luz Donegan, founders of Zulleon, say: “We are thrilled with this global signing. Ooks is a magical world of colour and surprises, and we look forward to being able to deliver Ooks-inspired collectables and plush to our demanding audiences through the expert and talented team at Jay at Play.”
More than eight million Ooks characters have been created by fans since launch, with five Ooks apps and games now downloaded in 110 countries around the world, and more than 1.5 million views of online Ooks animations and other content.
The new toy line will feed consumer appetite by a heavyweight marketing campaign, development from the studio continues apace with new animated shorts being released every month joining the current series of 22 x 2min shorts now available on YouTube Kids.
