Build-A-Bear Workshop brings customisable version of Carte Blanche’s cuddly bear to UK shoppers this Christmas

Tatty Teddy teams with Build-A-Bear thumbnail

Build-A-Bear Workshop is building something special for UK consumers this Christmas.

 

The DIY plush retailer has teamed up with Carte Blanche Greetings to offer its cuddly Me-to-You bear in the form of a Make-Your-Own Tatty Teddy.

 

From mid-November and for the first time in the UK, Build-A-Bear Workshop visitors can make their very own Tatty Teddy furry friend in stores across the country, adding their own personal touches and flourishes to create their perfect teddy. The licensed promotion will also be available online at buildabear.co.uk.

“The iconic Tatty Teddy story and character have been beloved by fans for decades,” says Roger Parry, Senior Managing Director for Build-A-Bear Workshop in Europe. “We are honoured to partner with Me to You, who brought this character to life, to introduce a Make-Your-Own Tatty Teddy to the U.K. for the first time—just in time for Christmas.”  

Supporting the promoton, shoppers who visit select UK Build-A-Bear Workshop stores on weekends in November and December will be able to participate in in-store Tatty Teddy events, including Tatty Teddy costume character visits and activities. Fans will also have the opportunity to win Me to You and Build-A-Bear Workshop prizes, boosted by social media.
