Playmobil is adding to its burgeoning licensed business by securing the global rights for Scooby-Doo.

Partnering with Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA, Playmobil will produce two distinct ranges: one will release to coincide with a new Scooby-Doo movie coming next year, while a second will focus on the Scooby-Doo core brand.

The 2020 theatrical release Scoob is the first full-length, theatrical animated Scooby-Doo adventure, and shows how Scooby-Doo meets his best friend Shaggy.

It stars the voice talent of Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried and Mark Wahlberg, with Will Forte as Shaggy and Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo.

The first wave of products will launch in Spring 2020 and will feature Playmobil figures of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred.

The iconic Mystery Machine vehicle will be given the Playmobil treatment too.

A variety of playsets and accessories in different combinations including single packs, multi packs, blind bags, collectible figurines and covermounts filled with Playmobil products and accessories will ensure hours of imaginative fun for the whole family.
