Playmobil's Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is a winner with dads

David Ross, founder of the Dad’s Choice Awards, says: “Congratulations to all of this year’s winners who really shined among the strongest competition we’ve had to date. Toy manufacturers are pressed to pack as much value into every product now, and that was evident across all the entries we received. The competition was fiercer than ever this year, so all the winners really do offer something special, quirky or unique and would make tremendous presents this Christmas.

“With our diverse panel of judges, the awards also prove how much value there is for dads and parents in general to get involved in picking the right toys for their kids. Doing research and engaging in that process makes playtime a more rewarding experience for everyone. A huge thanks to all the families, testers and brands that made this such an incredible awards season.”

Jamie Dickinson, Marketing Manager at Playmobil was thrilled with the result, telling LTW.MEDIA: “We are extremely proud to have won at the Dad’s Choice Awards 2018 with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. This toy has proven to be very popular with parents and children alike, so it’s great to have been recognised for this. Playmobil look forward to entering the Dad’s Choice Awards each year as it’s a great opportunity to see what parents really think of the toys and their playability.”

"We are delighted to receive the Dads Choice Award for our Science Mad Chemistry Lab,” says Trends UK’s Lindsay Hardy. “With over 100 real chemistry experiments, 19 chemical ingredients supplied and a proper spirit burner, it is a fantastic activity set for parents & children to enjoy together, to be inspired and learn STEM skills too.”

Gemma Briant of Coiledspring Games says: “We are thrilled that our Blue Orange Kingdomino won, and that Harry Potter: The Burrow Wrebbit 3D puzzle has been Highly Commended in the Dad’s Choice Awards. The quality of the Wrebbit 3D puzzle range really speaks for itself – they are the sturdiest 3D puzzles on the market. It is fantastic that Potterheads can bring the magic of the Wizarding World into their home, for the entire family to build and enjoy!”
