Barbie is opening up the doors to her famous Malibu Dream House to one lucky Airbnb user.
Mattel has partnered with the vacation app to recreate a real-life version of the playset for a one-time, two-night stay from 27-29 October.
The sojourn in the Dream House will cost $60 – a nod to Barbie’s 60th anniversary – and boasts an oceanfront view, Barbie-inspired interior design and, of course, a slide from the balcony into the infinity pool.
Locate in Malibu, California, when visitors are done soaking in the view, they can retire to a hobby studio, relax and catch up on the latest flicks in the personal cinema, work up a sweat in the sports court or get their zen on in the mediation space.
Guests will be treated to a meet and greet pamper session with celeb stylist Jen Atkin, a cooking lesson in the fully stocked kitchen with top local chef Gina Clarke-Helm, and a visit to the Columbia Memorial Space Centre for a personal tour.
To celebrate the partnership, Airbnb has also pledged a donation to the Barbie Dream Gap Project GoFundMe – a charity initiative supporting girls to realise their dreams through grants to mentorship and educational programmes.
Bookings open 23 October at 11am PDT and Barbie promises “the memories will last a lifetime” in her post on the Airbnb site.
