Co-marketing ad campaign rolls out in Italy, offering free Masha and the Bear episode downloads with the purchase of a Samsung touchscreen device

Samsung taps Masha for tablet campaign thumbnail

Samsung has enlisted Masha and the Bear for a Christmas campaign promoting its tablets in Italy.

Free episodes of the Animaccord-produced animation can be downloaded with every purchase of a shiny new tablet. Consumers can choose from any of Samsung’s 15 models, download the Masha and the Bear for Samsung app from the Galaxy Apps store and enjoy the show. Fans can enjoy 52 episodes of the show, plus 26 episodes of the spin-off Masha’s Tales.

A TV campaign featuring Masha and the Bear together with Samsung devices kicked off in early December, covering the main children's TV networks in Italy. Masha and the Bear is one of the most popular animated series in the country, making it an ideal partner for reaching families with young children. Parental control features built in to the Samsung devices allow all children to enjoy multimedia content in a more independent, secure and protected way.

The co-marketing activity will cover the entire Christmas period until the end of February 2019, and also gives Samsung users access to a host of other Masha-themed content, from games to posters.
