Epic Story Media, Brands and Rights 360 and Zinkia Ent secure host of global linear and streaming partnerships, and hint at new toy partner

Pocoyo broadcasting ramps up ahead of Licensing Expo thumbnail

Epic Story Media and Brands and Rights 360 have announced a raft of new broadcast deals for pre-school animation Pocoyo.

The Zinkia Entertainment property boasts more than 15 billion views on YouTube, and now viewership is set to expand further around the world, from the UK to New Zealand.

The series will premiere on streaming platform Kidoodle TV this summer in the US, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Other recent sales include the French-Canadian broadcaster TFO, HITN’s new SVOD platform Edye, and CCTV in China for all seasons – where in only four short weeks since launch it has achieved number one in market share.

Additionally, Zinkia Entertainment has reached an agreement with Azteca 7 in Mexico for Seasons One to Three, Rai Yoyo in Italy for Season Three, and has renewed deals with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and HBO.

The new 26 x 7’ instalment of Season Four is currently in production following a greenlight and will be completed for Q1 2020 – and a new toy partner will be announced later this year.

Pocoyo will be showcased at the International Licensing Expo at Epic’s booth S242.
