Nick Jr. has launched a new online game that combines the network’s best-loved properties and allows kids to build their own avatar and track progress from one challenge to the next.
Nick Jr. World is multi-property game that allows players to become a real part of Nick Jr.’s shows, engaging in games that tasks them with everything from driving Blaze and flying on Shimmer and Shine’s magic carpet, to baking sweet treats in Butterbean’s Café or test driving the Top Wing fleet to earn rewards.
Suzie Adams, Digital Director at Nickelodeon UK & Ireland, says: “Nick Jr. World is and exciting multi-property game that aims to enhance player’s experience with their favourite Nick Jr. characters, develop their problem-solving skills and explore the different worlds.
“This interactive game demonstrates our commitment to developing immersive experiences with our hit properties by embodying Nick Jr.’s playful ethos”.
Each of the worlds have four different missions to be completed, all based on storylines and visuals from the shows and characters, starting with a briefing scene to explain the mission. In the first mission, for example, the Shimmer and Shine villain Zeta has hidden Genie Gems all over Zahramay Falls, and it’s up to the player to track them down while flying on a magic carpet. Victorious players will to be rewarded with a custom photo of their avatar and the characters.
UK agency Complete Control built the immersive game that launched in the UK this week and will roll out internationally in the coming months.
