The Royal Horticultural Society has given its seal of approval to the Prestige range of trellis, fencing and gates from garden joinery specialist The Garden Trellis Co.

Handcrafted in the UK, these products include contemporary slatted panels, classic square or diagonal trellis, picket fencing, weave panels and solid tongue and groove fence panels.

Shereen Llewellin, Licensing Executive, RHS adds: “At the RHS, working with the right partners to produce high-quality, beautifully designed products is at the heart of everything we do – which is why we have endorsed this range from The Garden Trellis Co.

“The timeless designs and quality craftmanship behind the Prestige range make it a wonderful addition to our range of licensed and endorsed products.”

Matching trellis and contemporary slatted gates are also included in the range. The main market for the range is likely to be enthusiastic gardeners, making the endorsement by Britain’s best-known gardening charity particularly appropriate, though the fencing is expected to attract wide interest from garden-owners in general.

Products are handmade in the UK, with processes to reduce the impact on the environment. All the items use accredited timber and minimised packaging, an emphasis on sustainability that the RHS says was a key factor in the partnership. The company also collects all sawdust and feeds boilers to heat the workshop and paint-drying rooms.

The RHS endorsement will be highlighted on The Garden Trellis Co’s website and promotional material as well as on the products and packaging.
