Beauty essentials launch exclusively at the UK retailer ahead of the release of Disney’s live-action remake

Mad Beauty brings Mulan to Superdrug thumbnail

Mad Beauty has teamed up with Superdrug to launch a collection of Mulan beauty essentials ahead of the release of Disney’s live-action remake later this month.

The collection of pampering products and accessories includes face masks enriched with pearl, beautiful cherry blossom make-up brushes, hair clips, bath fizzers, eye make-up and lip balm – all of which are exclusive to Superdrug in the UK.

The products and packaging carry artwork and visuals from the original Disney animation, which hit cinemas in 1998 alongside a now-famous Szechuan Sauce McDonald’s Happy Meal promotion.

“We are very excited about this exclusive Mulan collection,” says Mad Beauty MD Trevor Cash.

“Superdrug have been a valued partner of Mad Beauty's for the last 3 Christmas seasons, and so to have the opportunity to launch a full range on a FSU in twice as many stores as normal in spring is a fantastic bonus.

“We are very proud of the beautiful collection developed together to coincide with the launch of Mulan movie launch, and would like to thank Superdrug and Disney for their support.”

Mulan hits UK cinemas 27 March.

The Mulan beauty range is the latest Disney-inspired collection from Mad Beauty, which has expanded its agreement with the entertainment giant to launch across the Americas, Australia and New Zealand, and other markets around the world.
