Up Town Sport has hit a hole in one, securing the Head Golf license to produce a range of branded apparel in North America and the Caribbean.

Under a multi-year agreement with Head Sport, Up Town Sport will embroider, ship and service products from domestically from facilities in New York, leading to quick turnaround times and an unparalleled level of customer service for customers and consumers.

The collections will include polos, quarter-zips, golf outerwear, sweaters and shorts aimed at the premium end of the market, expected to ship into retail by mid-October 2019.

“We trust in the experienced management team of Up Town Sport, Inc. and are excited to see some innovative and high quality garments in our Head Golf collection,” says Giuseppe Faranna, Vice President and Division Manager Licensing at Head Sport. “Especially to have Robert Haley on board will help us to gain trust mutually at the retail and buyers level as well as on players’ level.”

The partnership reunites Up Town Sport president and golf veteran Robert Haley with Head Golf, a brand he’s worked with in intermittently since the 1980s.

“Up Town Sport is committed to continuing with the brand’s heritage and to explore further Head’s wonderful history in the golf area,” he says. “Our management team has 100-plus years of experience in golf design, sales, manufacturing and service, and will draw on this extensive expertise to bring Head Golf apparel back to prominence in the golf market.”
