The National Gallery Company continues to expand its brand offering in Asia, opening a second Delicious Art Café in South Korea.
Following the success of the first venue launched earlier this year in Jamsil Lotte World Mall, Seoul, South Korea, the National Gallery Company has opened its second branch at the Lotte Hotel, located in the fashionable shopping area of Myeongdong.
The licensee for all National Gallery Delicious Art activity in this region is Infiniss, one of the Korea's leading brand licensing and management companies.
The National Gallery Delicious Art café was designed by creatives Chang Jinwoo Studio. Throughout the project, designers made reference to the Renaissance paintings in the National Gallery Collection. The space is dominated by an oversized replica of Bosschaert's Still Life of Flowers in a Wan-Li Vase, encouraging visitors to interact with the art.
Food and drink packaging corresponds to existing Delicious Art branding and ties in with the aesthetic of the National Gallery in London, offering customers a truly unique experience.
The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world, featuring more than 2,300 works of art including masterpieces such as van Eyck’s Arnolfini Portrait, Velázquez’s Rokeby Venus, Turner’s Fighting Temeraire and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers.
