In addition to moving to ExCeL London visitors can discover first-time publishing, gaming and interiors activations – three of the many growth areas within licensing – plus new publishing, animation, French and Italian pavilions.

Visitors will get the chance to meet with more than 260 exhibitors this year, and over 20 first timers originating from across Europe and further afield. Among the top brands making their BLE debut this year are Difuzed, Brands & Rights 360 and Planeta Junior, ZAG Studios, Boat Rocker Rights and Sutikki UK, Yale University, Royal Horticultural Society, RSPCA and Style Library, along with a host of other new exhibitors from character and entertainment, to art and design, and brands and lifestyle.

“As a licensee we have been a participant at the show for many years and we used the opportunity at BLE to grow our licensing business to become one of the leading licensee companies in Europe,” says Jeremy Orriss, Director of Licensing at apparel and accessories specialist Difuzed. “Realising how the show has evolved as the event in Europe for all areas of the licensing business – including retailers – we knew we needed to show what we do as a licensee on the exhibition floor.”

Style Library licensing director Helen Webster adds: “We are seeing significant growth in our licensing programme and wanted to support that growth by exhibiting at a licensing event; the biggest and most relevant for our brands is BLE.
