Spin Master appoints Animaccord to manage media and licensing rights across key EMEA territories, as well as launching network of local YouTube channels

Super Dinosaur stomps into Animaccord portfolio thumbnail

Spin Master has appointed Animaccord to expand the reach of its animated property Super Dinosaur in Russia, CIS and other key regions across EMEA.

Under the agreement, Animaccord will manage media and licensing representation for the series, including the development of consumer products and promotional campaigns, in Russia and CIS, Eastern Europe, Baltic countries, MENA, Turkey, Italy, and France.

The deal will also extends to managing the brand digitally. Animaccord will look to expand Super Dinosaur in apps and digital games, as well as looking to replicate past success on YouTube with the launch of official Super Dinosaur YouTube channels worldwide.

Vladimir Gorbulya, CEO of Animaccord, best known for Masha and the Bear, says: “We have been longing to have a boys’ property in our portfolio and now thrilled to represent it.”

Based on a comic book series of the same name by The Walking Dead co-creator Robert Kirkman, and Jason Howard, the CGI action-adventure series is aimed at six to 11-year-olds. Super Dinosaur follows 10-year-old genius Derek Dynamo and his genetically engineered T-Rex best friend as they protect the planet against evil.
