An eight-foot-tall Robozuna costume character dominated the showfloor at BLE this week, drawing awe from passersby and inching down the walkway stopping for photo after photo.
The character, a larger than life recreation of the main Combatabot Mangle needs to be operated by a professional stilt-walker and is completely unique and one-of-a-kind.
Mangle caused a stir at BLE with his acrobatic dance moves and intimidating stature, but was just one of the reasons Robozuna was one of the most talked about kids’ properties of the show.
The action-packed animated series Robozuna launched on ITV in the UK to fantastic ratings, and globally on Netflix, and was a major draw for the ITVS GE stand at BLE.
The SS19 toy line hit shelves in April, distributed by Bandai (UK) and was supported with a heavyweight TV and pre-roll campaign, and costume character appearances at retail. With a second wave just landed in stores for AW19, licensees hit the ITVS GE stand to snap up consumer product opportunities.
