Reemsborko has been named licensing agent for the hit Dragon Ball anime franchise in the UK and Ireland.
The appointment, which was made by Toei Animation Europe, a subsidiary of Dragon Ball owner Toei Animation, covers the entire property, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball Super.
Max Arguile, founder of Reemsborko, says: “I have worked on Dragon Ball many times over the years – what a great property! It is the single most widely recognised anime, with a demonstrable success at UK retail over the past 12 months.
“This year saw the launch of a new series, Dragon Ball Super, on kids’ TV channel Pop, which will grow a whole new generation of fans. I’m very pleased to be able to represent this for Toei Animation Europe in the UK.”

As well as wide recognition among the UK’s growing anime devotees, Goku, the central character in the Dragon Ball saga, will take to the global mainstream later this year as a key mascot for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
