Former 20th Century Fox hardlines director Scott Shillet joins as Executive Director, Licensing

Scott Shillet has been named Executive Director, Licensing at Endemol Shine North America.

The former Fox and Warner Bros. executive has been brought on board to support the development of brand licensing partnership across both consumer products and the firm’s growing interest in location-based events and experiences for North America.

He will also work alongside the brand licensing team to develop global licensing strategies for the company’s top brands, both scripted and non-scripted.

“I am thrilled to have Scott join me in building a world-class licensing team here at Endemol Shine,” says Amber Sheppo, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Endemol Shine North America. 

“His vast experience in entertainment licensing, his passion for our properties and his deep relationships within our industry will make him an asset to the entire Endemol Shine Group global licensing team.”

Scott joins from 20th Century Fox, where he was responsible for driving licensing programmes for the likes of The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers and Home Alone, as Licensing Director, Global Toys and Hardlines.

Prior to that he was the Senior Franchise Manager, Harry Potter Global Franchise Development at Warner Bros., where he oversaw the development of key initiatives across consumer product, gaming, studio tours and publishing.

“I am excited to join the talented team at Endemol Shine in bringing joy to fans of their shows through licensed products and experiences,” Scott says.

“With a vast library of content, including my personal favorite, Peaky Blinders, there are a plethora of amazing licensing opportunities that I am eager to explore across various traditional and non-traditional categories.”
