WWE is entering the ring with casino supplier Bluberi, developing a series of licensed slot games featuring WWE Superstars and Legends.
Familiar WWE Superstars like John Cena, Triple H, Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns will appear across a number of electronic gaming machines at casinos across North America. Wrestling veterans Hulk Hogan, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and a number of other WWE Legends will also feature.
Bluberi, a Canadian-based company specialising in electronic game boards and casino machines, says the partnership is the ‘next step’ in its growth strategy.
It hopes to attract new players who are fans of the WWE, which Bluberi CEO Mike Starzynski calls “one of the most recognisable brands in the world”.
“We are excited to be selected as their preferred slot game partner,” he adds.
The first WWE series slot games are expected to launch in October 2020.
Sarah Cummins, Senior Vice President of Consumer Products at WWE, says: “Bluberi is on of the most reputable companies in the gaming industry and has a long history of developing high quality products.
“The new partnership will allow players to engage with their favourite WWE Superstars and Legends in casinos across the country in new and exciting ways.”
