BLE 19: Nickelodeon’s Marianne James heads to Hasbro thumbnail

This BLE will be the last for Marianne James under the orange banner of Nickelodeon, as she today announced her departure to move to Hasbro.

Marianne has be named Vice President, EMEA Consumer Products at Hasbro, beginning her new role from 11 November.

She will be based out of Hasbro’s Stockley Park office in the U.K. and report to Casey Collins, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Consumer Products at Hasbro.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Marianne to the Hasbro Consumer Products team,” says Casey. “Marianne will join our team of passionate industry leaders with a key focus to drive our franchise brands and expand into new categories, channels and markets.

“Her leadership capabilities, depth of market knowledge, and strategic vision will help drive further growth in our EMEA Consumer Products business.”

Marianne has long served Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products in a variety of roles, most recently as Vice President of Licensing, Commercial Partnerships and Experiences across Europe.

In her career, Marianne has been a key member of senior leadership teams driving strategy, while serving at the helm of teams in Category, Retail, Marketing, Commercial Sponsorships and Partnerships. She boasts numerous accolades, including Licensor of the Year awards and merits at industry trade and annual licensing shows.
