A new in-house marketing service for clients will give licensed product created and launched by The Point.1888 a clearer, more successful route to market.

Helmed by the agency’s Head of Marketing Sarah Crimes, who joined the company earlier this month, the new division aims to streamline launch activity and leverage The Point.1888’s considerable experience and contacts to secure all-important retail space.

“At The Point.1888, we want our clients to be supported in every way,” says MD Will Stewart. “With marketing being such a big part of creating, communicating and promoting products, it is absolutely the right time to add this division to our business and align it with our existing Creative services.”

A former Brand Manager for British chocolatier Montezuma, Sarah has plenty of experience in securing listings with the UK’s biggest retailers. Previously she built house plant brand The Little Botanical from scratch, acquiring shelf space in John Lewis within four months.

At The Point.1888, she will work alongside brands to help shape style guides and make route to market and growth a priority from the beginning. Digital marketing and PR will be available for product launch, alongside content creation to engage consumers and strategy planning to grow sales and margins on ecommerce platforms.

“Having known Sarah for over four years, I knew she would be a perfect cultural fit for our growing family,” Will adds. “Sarah has a huge wealth of knowledge across the full spectrum of marketing activity which we can now unleash on the brand extension industry.

"Engaging retailers and delivering outstanding products already puts us ahead of the market but layering on a full marketing capability to our partnerships is unique. It continues to be such an exciting time for our company and Sarah will help drive our unique proposition forward.”
