Video game publisher Bethesda has teamed with Modiphius to launch an all-new tabletop game based on its Elder Scrolls fantasy RPG series.
Featuring high quality 32mm resin figures, The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms builds on the core mechanics of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, Modiphius’ previous adaptation of a Bethesda video game. Experienced designer and miniatures expert Mark Latham has rewritten and reworked the rules to suit the world and inhabitants of The Elder Scrolls franchise.
Figures include fan-favourite characters from Elder Scrolls lore, including Hadvar, Ralof, Yrsarald Thrice-Pierced, Marcurio, Mjoll the Lioness, Ulfric Stormcloak, Galmar Stone-Fist, General Tullius and Lydia. The player’s heroes lead groups of henchmen on adventures inside familiar elder Scrolls locations like the underground Dwemer Ruins, Draugr-infested Nord Tombs and surrounding frozen wilderness.
The first wave of releases will be a Two Player starter set and reinforcement sets of resin miniatures for both the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Army, plus a Dragonborne single player set, but more races and characters from across the Elder Scrolls stories are planned, with expansions focussing on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as well as adding releases from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls Online and more.
The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms will be available from Christmas 2019.
