The Koyo Store has expanded its operations within the Esports space, with the launch of a dedicated bespoke physical pin badge and achievement coin service.

The entertainment and games merchandise specialist, which launched last year, has already enjoyed a good deal of success with its ranges of licensed pin badges and achievement coins, covering big name video game titles such as Rainbow Six: Siege, Street Fighter, and Wargaming. It has also worked with FaceIt to provide coins for Counter-Strike tournaments.

Now Koyo’s dedicated esports division is offering bespoke, limited-edition products to teams, tournament organisers, influencers and more.

To date these include ESL UK, pins, coins and keyrings for the US-based organisation DarkZero Esports, pins and keyrings for the Sweden-based Esports organisation Ninjas In Pyjamas, and a range of collectible coins for Fnatic’s 15th birthday celebrations.

On top of this, The Koyo Store will also be developing a range of pins, coins and VIP collector’s boxes for the Esports Awards, plus awards for on-going competitions, such as the Hall of Fame. It’s also created a one-off pin for UK games charity Special Effect’s “Chicken for Charity” fundraiser event, in collaboration with PUBG and Sega.

In addition to creating bespoke products for events, teams or individuals, Koyo’s retail proposition encompasses on-site sales through either its own stands or merch outlets, plus an online store. It’s also offering partners full design and production support, plus a consultancy offering for parties looking for more unusual merch.

"Having worked alongside a number of Esports teams and tournaments over the past few months, we recognise that there is huge demand for bespoke event-specific merch," says Koyo MD Lee Townsend.

"Our bespoke service provides a unique opportunity for Esports tournaments and personalities to create their own merchandise to promote and celebrate their offerings. Turn a logo, image or likeness into something physical – whether that’s a pin badge, collectible challenge coin, key ring or more – the only limitation is your imagination."
