Cloudco Entertainment has appointed Amy Sullivan as VP, Global Retail Development.
She joins from Hasbro, where she spent seven years, most recently as the Director of Global Market Franchise Strategy, and will hit the ground running at Cloudco amid the simultaneous consumer product launch of three brands: Care Bears, Holly Hobbi and Tinpo.
Care Bears: Unlock the Magic is a new-look for the venerable brand that kicked off earlier this year in the US on Boomerang and in the UK on Tiny Pop, while Holly Hobbie, a live-action, music-driven Hulu Original series, debuts its second season this autumn. Tinpo, a Cbeebies-commissioned CGI vehicle and construction show that is just now starting to roll-out globally.
“Amy is the rockstar when it comes to retail development and I can’t express how excited I am that she has chosen to join our band,” says Robert Prinzo, Head of Global Licensing at Cloudco, whom Amy will report to. “Her deep experience in retail marketing and long list of relationships in retail development at both bricks and mortar and e-commerce companies is invaluable to the success of our brands, our partners and the Cloudco team.”
In addition to the newly launching brands, Cloudco’s expanding portfolio also includes the classic toy brand Madballs, the forthcoming BBC and Gulli commissioned 2D animated series Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese, and a soon-to-be announced re-developed TV series around the 1980s classic The Getalong Gang.
