Vans has made a splash today with the launch of an all-new shark-themed line of kids’ and adult footwear and apparel tied to this year’s Shark Week.

Launching 1 July, just in time for the 31st annual Shark Week on Discovery Channel, consumers can shop the collection at Vans stores, Footlocker, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters and other specialty retailers worldwide.

The line includes seven kids’ lines and two for adult covering footwear, t-shirts and accessories, ranging in price from $28-75.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Discovery’s charitable partner Oceana, a charitable organisation dedicated to protecting and restoring the world’s oceans on a global scale.

Shark Week takes fascinated viewers on a week-long journey to the depths of the sea to uncover the secrets of the ocean’s top creature. It has become an annual pop culture phenomenon that has also spawned a massive global merchandising program. Shark Week 2019 will air on Discovery Channel from 28 July to 4 August.
