Puma is continuing its collaboration hot streak with Mattel, unveiling a range of Hot Wheels footwear.
The sports brand’s RS-X silhouette – the same trainer chosen for last month’s Transformers collab – is once again the canvas for a bold overhaul. It comes in three colourways inspired by different toy cars from the Hot Wheels five-decade history.
A black and gold pair pays homage to the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker Rodger Dodger car, while a vibrant orange shoe borrows from the well-known 1968 Camaro custom edition die-cast model. In a nod to the Original Sweet 16, the very first collection of Hot Wheels collectables, a cobalt blue colourway completes the trio.
The capsule collection, which also coincides with the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels, is rounded off with a range of t-shirts, track tops and other staples emblazoned with Hot Wheels and Puma co-branding.
The full Puma x Hot Wheels range goes on sale 15 November through Puma’s bricks and mortar and online stores, and selected retailer around the world.
