What BLE means to me: Meagan Vaughan, Striker Entertainer thumbnail

To be a cutting-edge licensing agency, it is critical to attend any trade show that embodies the magnitude that BLE does. When licensees and rights holders are present at any event, Striker’s goal has always been to make and maintain deep rooted connections.

This is especially elevated when we have the opportunity to connect on a global level. BLE allows us to take a mixture of introductory meetings for potential new opportunities, while also attaining essential face time with longstanding partners who we may correspond with daily but aren’t afforded direct meetings with regularly due to location. When you can sit down and candidly speak to a program, share plans, and receive feedback from a different perspective, a trust is built, making the time both worthwhile and fruitful.

Being an agency requires us to build relationships as properties come and go. What may not be an opportunity now, could be one in the future. We strive to find ways to keep our fingers on the pulse point of entertainment and the buzz being generated from a worldwide scope, thus attending BLE is pertinent in so doing.

This year, we will be speaking to partners about our roster of properties, including: Fingerlings, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Exploding Kittens, LAIKA properties and so many more! We look forward to hearing what trends are taking place at retail on a territory by territory basis and get a feel as to what new brands are on the horizon.
